Both as a writer and as a traveller, I find languages and cultures fascinating! With my varied arsenal of skills and education, I lived and worked in Italy, Ireland, China, Uganda, the USA, Brazil and Mexico, and travelled in many other countries. Along the way, I picked up some language abilities in Chinese, Spanish, Runyankole (a Ugandan Bantu language), and Portuguese, as well as studying French, Arabic and Italian. As a cultural sponge, with plenty of curiosity and openness to new ideas, I have built strong cross-cultural relationships across the globe.
